Adam's 3rd Birthday

My sweet boy turned 3 last June. We kept it pretty low key and had a few friends of the family come over to introduce Adam to Star Wars. He watched most of the light saber scenes and tried acting them out as soon as he finished watching them. He carried around his new light saber for weeks. My mom gave him a Cat in the Hat hat, and he loved playing around with it. In fact, all the kids still wear it on a weekly basis. It's a big hit with friends who come over to play. We finished off his day with a baseball cake, which I took no pictures of. But it was really yummy!

Elliott's 1st Birthday

Elliott is soon going to be 2, so I'm going to try to catch up on this blog before he does. He did not like his first birthday cupcake. He has since come around and is a huge chocolate fan, but I was worried for a while ;) My mom and Jen-Jen (my cousin) came to help us celebrate my baby's first year. We went strawberry picking, introduced Jen-Jen to the zoo, and had a generally fabulous time. The kids love Nana and Aunt Jen-Jen!

10 and 11 Months

Where Was I?

Pardon me for the LONG absence. I'd like to say it had something to do with Paul's crazy school schedule (which it does slightly). I must admit it coincides with the purchase of my new iPhone. Those things are so fun! Elliott is well over a year now, and we just celebrated Adam's third birthday yesterday. But more on that on the next post. I thought I'd start the ball rolling with Elliott's eight month and nine month pictures (the 8th month are in his Christmas pajamas). Love his squishy little face!

Giggle Monster

Adam starting putting a hat on his head and moving his head down so it would fall off. It was a simple motion, but for some reason it caught Elliott's fancy. We have yet to replicate his intense giggle since the night we videotaped it. We're so glad we caught this little moment!

Seven Months

We love our Elliott! He's a darling little baby. He is sweet and kissable and is eager to give a smile. During our seven month pictures, Elliott was enjoying rocking back and forth while sitting up. It's hard to get a clear picture these days. He's also making some cheesy faces. It's like he knows he has these four teeth and desperately wants to show them off. I couldn't resist posting the picture of him with his siblings. He was the only one who knew there was a camera around.

Six Months

I think I say this every month, but I can't get enough of this little guy. He's as darling as he looks. He's been chattering away lately, and he's also been tracking his siblings every time they come into the room. It seems as if he reserves his biggest smiles for when Avery and Adam look his way.
